Lake Ouachita with the Voelkels

We went to Lake Ouachita and Camp Ozark with our friends the Voelkels. The Zacs (Mark & Desi) were there along with Al and Emma Schultz from Canada... all to celebrate Carson's birthday!












We had a great time, except that Lucy did make someone mad at her for the first time. We were trying to take cute pictures of our girls together (Lily and Lucy), but Lucy kept pulling Lily's hair (it's so pretty and long), so Lily had to tell her to stop. Lily is 3, by the way. And yes, that is her wakeboarding and surfing. Bryan said it was a little weird driving the boat around to pick up a 3 year old after her surf/wakeboard run.

Everyone says

Everyone says (and I totally agree) that she looks like the Larsons.  Even the doctor, upon walking into the room and seeing her with her Dad, said, "She's a girl version of you [Bryan]."  However... I think some of her expressions are starting to maybe-perhaps look a little bit like a Sloan.  Maybe?

p.s. - Lucy likes to sleep face down.   We try to move her head, but this is how she always ends up.

Lucy has started blowing bubbles and making motorboat noises.  She's pleasantly entertained by this new development.

Sloan Girls

The Sloan Girls (Mom, Charissa, Amy, Alathea, Sophie, Lucy and I) had a weekend together in Frisco to celebrate Alathea's upcoming wedding (July 19).  We got pedicures, ate, shopped, swam and watched movies.  Alathea & Sophie fixed Lucy's hair in the pool.  Luckily, Lucy was headed to Aunt Karin's house after that and was able to get some style help.  I think Lucy had a blast with the Files... playing, being serenaded by Uncle Rocko, and jumping on the trampoline.
