Lucy's Favorite Book, "Team of Rivals" by Doris Kearns [Abraham Lincoln]

Lucy gets this book out all of the time to read.  She likes the pictures and asks who they are.  She was reading while Bryan was working and started asking lots of questions:

• Where is he [Abraham Lincoln]?
• Why is he lying on the bed?  What happened?
• Is heaven invisible?
• Are we getting back to kid or adult in heaven?
• Who are those people in white t-shirts? [Answer: photo on the wall of my Dad's baseball team when he was a boy]

Easter Resurrection Eggs & Table

We're doing the resurrection eggs.  During the month before Easter, Hope the Bunny hides an egg.  When the girls find it, they bring it to me, and I give them a piece of candy, and then we tell the story that matches the symbol inside the egg (the story of Jesus' life, death and resurrection - our Hope).  I also use the Miss Pattycake Eggstravaganza DVD, picture book and songs.
