BFFs

Lucy LOVES Mille, Mandy & John Andrew (and Joseph, too - I think he's in the back with Bryan).

Our Yard is Fixed

Sadly, our Bradford Pear Tree split last summer.  The stump is gone, and the hole is finally filled in.

Lucy Found Her Thumb!!!

She was taking an extra long nap, so I went in to check on her, and there she was -- she found her thumb.  It was so exciting.  I'm so proud and happy.  And - just for the record - her BFF Millie (born on the same day) also found her thumb today, too.  Seriously.

Pops and SueSue Visit

Pink Hat

Boxing Gloves

Well, they're really just hand mittens that double as rattler toys, but she likes them.

2-Months Check-Up

Lucy did not like getting the shots.  She weighed in at 10.7 lbs and is 22.75 inches long (as best they can tell).

New Tricks

Lucy is now rolling over onto her side and constantly trying to eat her whole fist.  She's almost found her thumb...  She also loves the toys around her, and I think she just realized that her legs are connected to the rest of her body.

Rise and Shine

Lucy and her Dad are morning people.  I am not.  However, Lucy is pretty funny, so it makes waking up a lot easier.  She's usually grunting (her sweet way of cooing and letting us know it's time for breakfast), kicking and flailing her arms the best she can when I come into her room.  I turn on the lamp next to her bed, and she frantically moves her head from side to side and blinks furiously as the light must be blinding (it's a 30 watt bulb).  Her hair is also pretty sweet (she gets that from me).  She always has great bed head; it sticks straight up.  When she sees you, she waves her arms and smiles and laughs and can barely breathe in because she is so excited.  I now love mornings because of her.  You can't help but laugh, even if it is 5:00 a.m.

March Madness

The Sloans had a bracket tourney for the Sweet 16 basketball games.  It came down to the championship game for the winner, and it was between Alathea (who picked Memphis) and Bryan (who picked Kansas).  Way to go BLL.  Alathea, Justin, Sophie & Mac came over to watch the game.  I think we were more entertained by Sophie.
