Samuel's Birthday

We went to the lake, Rudy's Barbecue for lunch and then to SLL's graveside.

We had a fun day together as a family thanking God for his life.

When your tummy melts

We struggled a little bit with Kate Liv's name (the hospital held our paperwork for the longest time the state allows). So one morning we were discussing what we should call her. Lucy proudly exclaimed (pointing to my belly where there is no more baby), "I know what we can name THAT baby. We can name her Lacy!"

Me: (Explaining that there is no more baby in my tummy)
Lucy: "...when your tummy melts away and gets low like mine..."

Kate's 2 Week Doctor Appointment

Lucy brought her stethoscope to show the doctor. KL weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces (measured 19 1/2 inches); Lucy weighed 35 pounds and Abby weighed 20 pounds (after losing 2 pounds the week Kate was born, and we were all sick, and she was also getting her molars).
