Lucy and Millie had their 1st Birthday party together, and of course we think it was the best one ever. I still can't believe Mandy and I had little girls on the exact same day (within an hour of each other... a year ago). Lucy loved her cake.

I remember my grandmother (Mema Lucy) singing this song to us when we were little. We sing it to Lucy (and changed up some of the words...sometimes), and now Lucy sings it to her baby bear.

The Fridge
Recently, Lucy has begun to climb into everything. I was unloading the dishwasher and had my back to her while I put up the plates. When I turned around, she was sitting in the dishwasher under the top rack (on the door where the bottom rack slides onto). I finally took her to the den so I could finish unloading the dishwasher, and when I went in to check on her, she had taken out the baskets in the bookcase and was sitting inside the shelf.

Husky Puppy
Lucy LOVES dogs. She waves her arms and pants anytime she sees one. We should probably get a dog, but... in the meantime... we have the husky puppy that goes with her everywhere.

Erik & Yuriko
Erik and Yuriko were in town for several weeks from Christmas through the New Year. We loved being able to see them so much. Hopefully they will be down in Texas for good soon :)!
