She was crying, I walked in to check on her, and she had sat up ALL BY HERSELF!
The first picture is when she sat up all be herself for the very first time. Of course, I made Bryan come look and didn't let him pick her up until I had taken a picture.

Breckenridge, Colorado
The Colorado vacation marked the Larsons' (Grandpa and Grandma) move from Canada to the USA (they had already moved from their house in Regina to the Midale Farm in June). Grandpa drove the U-Haul, and Grandma flew. We (Karin, Larson & Secily and Lucy and I) surprised Lorraine at the hotel a day early. Ryan and Bryan drove the suburban from Texas to Colorado; Erik and Yuriko flew from Canada, and Jeff and Chandra had news to share when they arrived (they're expecting... the little bean is due February '09).
We rode bikes, played Ticket to Ride, hiked, jumped on the trampoline in the backyard, went white water rafting, went to a Rockies Baseball game in Denver, and I got to visit Andee at their new house in Basalt.
