We went to Italy, and Aunt Charissa came to stay with the girls and then with Aunt A and Uncle Big B.  We all had a blast.

When Lucy hollered for me at 2 in the morning from her bed, I ran into her room.
Lucy: "I had fun in the sprinkles today.  What are we doing when the sun wakes up?  Why is it taking a long time?  You can go back to bed."

Lucy has some of her time and date words mixed up, so she'll say things like, "Next year can we have ice cream?"  Yep.  "Next year can we go to the park?"  You betcha.

"Stinky Biper" is what Abby says to let us know she's dirty.

The Makers

I recently started watching cooking shows (like Barefoot Contessa and Pioneer Woman) while I feed Liv.  Lucy loves them.  She calls them "The Makers."  

Lucy: Can we watch The Makers?
Me:  The what?
Lucy: You know with the horses (Pioneer Woman) and they make food?

(after jumping on the trampoline and walking inside)
Lucy: I'm allergic to the hot

Abby: [she just smiles and laughs... we're working on words]

Second Day of (Pre)School - yellow shoes

Concerning the yellow shoes that we picked out at the store with Lucy for school:
Me:  You can't wear flip-flops to school.  You have to wear your yellow shoes.
Lucy:  I'll wear them, but I won't look at them.

Ring Around the Rosies... A Pocket Full of Posies

A Happy 2nd Birthday Party...  

We played ring around the rosies almost as many times as she would've loved.

...And had a pocket posie purse scavenger hunt with whoopie cushions, balls and sparkly rings. 

 All the cousins had a hit on the posie flower pinata, and then we read and acted out the book "Mr. Gumpy's Outing."  Pops read; Bryan was Mr. Gumpy.  At the end of the book they walk across the field and have a tea party... so that's what we did.  Abby loved blowing out the candles all by herself, with only a little help from Lucy.
