First Trip to the Mall
We had a blast, I promise, even though she slept through the whole thing. Don't you love her little pink purse (the paci pod)?! The trip was amazing because we walked in and were getting off the elevator, and... there was Sophie and Mac. And then Lucy and I were riding the elevator again and the doors open, and... there was Mandy's Mom. Mandy and I haven't seen each other or the other's babies, but at least Mandy's Mom has :)!

Princess and the Pea
Lucy has been sleeping in a Moses basket in our room. While trying to get her into an "eat-wake-sleep" schedule, we let her take a couple of naps in her big crib. Her sleeping so well in it helped us transition into her sleeping in her room all by herself at night. I think she likes the crib mattress better, although she looks like a tiny sweet pea in such a big crib.

A Picture's Worth a Thousand Words
If a picture's worth a thousand words, then these are worth a million more, and maybe even in dollars, namely a new black backdrop for the portrait studio. I thought getting family photos with Lucy as a newborn would be fun and precious. Little feet and naked newborns are so sweet, that is - until they use the bathroom on you while you're trying to snap that priceless pic. Here are a few pictures of the final product and a few that are more like a work in progress. And portrait studio - don't worry - I was just kidding about the backdrop. It all landed on me, her mother, and I have the jeans to prove it.
Mommy and Lucy at Home
Besides sleeping and eating, which is pretty much the whole day, we sing, read books, play, and try to have tummy time. Sometimes it goes well, but at this point, tummy time is not her favorite.

Don't you worry...
... We're getting plenty of sleep. Lucy wasn't quite sleeping as long as I would have liked in the mornings. I was trying to talk to her and play, but it turns out I must have nodded off (luckily Bryan hadn't left for work yet and was able to snatch the pic - siiiiike).

Larsons Dinner
Grandma cooked a feast, and we all played. Karin made dessert pizza. Larson loves the iPhone, and Lucy loves being held by her Aunt Chandra. I think Secily and Lucy are BFFs already.
