This is a little creepy, but my Mom thought the pictures weren't doing justice in showing how small she is, so... she sent this picture (next to Lucy's baby doll) to my family who hadn't met Abby yet.

Abigail means "Father Rejoicing" (in Hebrew)

- When Lucy woke up this morning she was singing and dancing on her bed, "My have a baby sister!"
- And when my Mom asked her how she slept, Lucy said, "I sleep hard."
- If Lucy doesn't like the direction my instructions are going, she nips it in the bud with a "don't talk, Mommy."
- Bryan and Lucy were playing, and Lucy kept leaning her whole head back laughing and saying, "You're joking, Daddy!"

She's Here

I woke up early this morning with contractions; we got to the hospital at 8:30 am, and she arrived at 12:27 p.m., weighing 5 pounds, 13 oz and 19". She's the cutest little thing. We are so thankful. "He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy" (Psalm 28:7).

And I quote: "I love water; I love swimming pool."

Lucy is 2 1/2

- She drew a line on the chalkboard and then jumped back surprised and yelled, "Oooh! A snake!"
- She likes to dress up Bryan in her headbands & necklaces
- I think it's funny when Lucy says "o-kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay?" to make sure I understand her directions for whatever we're playing
- She sticks out her tummy and rubs it and says, "Lucy have Baby Sister."
- When she says "bunny rabbits!!!!" she's trying to act like the youngest girl in Sound of Music when they sing "A Few of My Favorite Things". She also likes "... The sun... has gone... to bed and so must I..."
- Her best dance move includes sticking out her elbows with a knee bounce.
- She sings REALLY loud in the car

Baby Sister Like?

I made matching yellow & white seersucker dresses for the girls. Lucy holds the little one up to my stomach and asks, "Baby Sister like??"
